Do you know what I diiiid? I totally missed Tsuyoshi's birthday this month... What? You can't believe that? I don't either! Maybe I just didn't want it to happen. Every year, I'm reminded my guys are getting closer to the big 4-0. haha. xD It's just so weird. What's weirder is Ohno Satoshi is not too far off either. I just can't imagine that for Arashi. It'll be here before you know it. ;_;
And I'm reading LJ comments on news posts (while trying to write a decent entry). Why do I even bother? So much hate, it's disgusting to read. I'm fortunate you guys I follow are so nice.
Ouran hasn't aired yet, but the new Hana Kimi has! I ended up watching the first episode raw (
psshh.. who needs subtitles!?), and from what I can tell it's
almost a whole different world. I was disappointed that they re-used the dorm rooms from 2007! And the OST! (At least the OST is actually
good!) But what's really interesting is that the school is old, and decrepit. Never would have expected that.
Some of these actors just look bizarre for their characters. Namely, Sekime and Tennouji. Though maybe once we get to know them, it'll be gravy. But, the new Nakao looks so cuuuute. I often wonder what would happen if Suda Masaki was cast. Don't you think he could pull it off? Maybe? haha. All the W fans would die. xD But Nanba is perfect in every way, whether it be Mizushima Hiro or Kiriyama Renn. I love it. Hidenori Tokuyama is an amazing Oscar. He's not even close to the annoyance I thought Nobuo Kyo was, and I'm loving his outfits instead of those capes. :P I have no opinion on Kagurazaka, though I do love KaGAmi.
It's too bad they kept the same ugly jacket colors, but I do think the St. Blossom uniforms are adorable. If I were directing Hana Kimi, I would mix around actors, switch some personalities and outfits, and make it more manga-like. The manga has a more greater story than what was adapted previously. I just wish they'd use some of it.
Who thinks Marumo no Okite was the cutest thing in existence this year?! A raise of hands? I'll raise both. x3 They made me cry, they made me happy, they made me go 'awwwww'. Ashida Mana and Suzuki Fuku are pretty good actors. And I think Marumo is the only role I've ever seen Abe Sadao act more normal than anything else. I'm so happy it will be getting a special! I totally recommend this drama to anyone looking for something new. I want a dog like Mook, and it'd be great if he could talk too. :D
I've been buying a lot of movies lately. Well, Korean and Japanese movies. I'm estatic there are lots of region 3 DVDs out there with English subtitles. And they're actually pretty good too. I get to watch awesome movies I wouldn't be able to get in region 1, and Japanese releases are super expensive. :P

I liked
Amalfi. I like Oda Yuji and I heard there was a drama coming out that was like a sequel, so I figured why not?. His character was cool, but there could have been more to him. Maybe there is, and the drama explains it. But if it was a standalone movie, I'd want to know more.
The next two are movies from the Telecinema 7 drama,
The Relations of Face, Mind, and Love and
Postman to Heaven. They're really cute movies. If I'd known I'd have enjoyed them so much I would have bought the entire set, and I even already have
19.
Lee Byung Hun is becoming one of my favorites. I saw
The Good, the Bad, and the Weird a while back and loved it. His character was so badass and... pretty hot. >__> I mean, dat hair. Then just last month I watched
I Saw The Devil. This movie was terrible. And I don't mean that literally. I really don't watch movies like that. Blood, murder, more blood. Oh my god. I stuck through it for Byung Hun, and it was worth it. Going back in time about 10 years, we have
The Harmonium In My Memory. This was different. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad. But if you had to pick between this and something else, chances are you'd enjoy the other thing more. I feel bad saying it, but I don't really know what I watched.

Even so! I still want more Lee Byung Hun. I broke down and bought the
IRIS boxset, which I found out was being re-released this month! Along with it I got
A Bittersweet Life. Both are on their way, and I can't wait to watch them.
Yatterman (in bluray!) is still chilling out on my shelf. Just can't find the right mood to start watching it.
Can you recommend me some movie you enjoyed? :3 I was thinking about getting
Kokuhaku and
Always - Sunset on Third Street.
I think I'll wrap this up for now. I have more to say, but it can wait!
